Admin How To Make Money Online Like Myspace And Facebook!
September 4th, 2010
Admin Did you know that you can have your own Social Networking website like Myspace or Facebook – and create multiple streams of income from these websites … while working from home?
Within months of launching their social networking websites, Myspace and Facebook were each valued over a hundred million dollars and are now each valued over a billion dollars after only a few years. Experts agree, and proven by the success of Myspace, Facebook and other social networking websites like Youtube, and Linkedin that having your own social networking website is one of the best business opportunities available today.
You can start your own social networking website and target specific groups of people and monetize the site in several ways. This is very inexpensive to do and can be completely managed from home. All you need is internet access. Could YOU own a site like this? Of course, why not? For only a few dollars you can have an entire social networking website within a few minutes. Just visit www.rsitez.com for details.
So why do I recommend that you have your own social networking site? Because it’s very low cost, easy to manage, can be done from home, easy to monetize, and all you need to do is get people to join the site. You can have a free site that sells ads; a membership payment site that you charge others to join; or a site that you use to sell products. There are many other ways to monetize social networking sites, but these are the 3 most common ways.
Let’s talk a little about the difference in these monetization options.
Ads Sales – Advertisers are always trying to find new places to advertise their products. Clearly, online advertising is putting newspapers and magazines out of business everywhere. It’s less expensive, has a quicker turn-around time, and more targeted than the way your dad used to advertise. You don’t need to have a Myspace with over a hundred million members to sell ads. All you need is a very targeted niche site. So let’s assume that you’re a stay-at-home mom and you want to build a network of moms. And let’s say that you can attract a lot of the moms in your town. All of a sudden you can now go to the grocery store, the bakery, the day care, the gym, the dentist and all the places you normally go and offer them the opportunity to advertise on your site. You can set whatever price you like for your ads. The main idea here, however, is that you have a targeted audience of moms in your town that people will want to reach. This concept is the same for virtually any affinity group, professions, interest etc. Here are some ideas: social networking site for painters, musicians, firemen, police, teachers, snowboarders, travellers etc. There is virtually no limit here. Try to find something that you have a genuine interest in and imagine that others will to. Your main job will be to attract these individuals to your site and create value or opportunities for them.
Membership Income – Some sites will have to be free while others will be able to charge a membership fee. This depends on the value of the content of the site. Example: a hangout for teens will probably be free. However, a site that focus on teaching someone how to invest, how to speak French, or how to add some value to their life may charge some fee that the site visitors will gladly pay. Why? Because the cost savings and value added by the site to the member is apparent. Here are some examples: A site where you help employers recruit top talent; a site where you help people navigate through the financial crisis with proven investment strategies; a site where you provide strategies for lasting relationships; a site where you help someone find that perfect mate. These sites will need to be credible and will need to provide the value advertised but once established, these sites could become very good cash machines. This is a great way to make money because you can often charge a subscription fee for these sites, payable monthly, yearly etc. The fee will be based on the value you provide. However, you only need 1,000 members paying $10 per month to make $10,000 per month with this method. That’s a six figure salary from working at home. Not a bad start!
Selling online – What’s great about this method is that you already have your members online and you know what they like – if you have an affinity niche social networking site. So let’s say that you have a site that targets football fans and you have an online store with the site. Guess what you sell? That’s right football memorabilia and other related ‘stuff’. T-shirts, calendars, balls, game tickets etc. This could be on a local level – the college team U of M (University of Money), a national team, or just football fans overall. But where do you get this stuff to sell? You can partner with the local merchant, take photos of the items, upload the photos and description, collect the orders with your site, and have the merchant fulfil the orders. Basically, members would be able to order the products on your site, your automatic notification system will email the orders to the merchant, and the merchant ships the products to the customer. You take a percentage of the sales, thank you sir, for doing practically nothing, manufacturing nothing, warehousing nothing. Another option is to use amazon.com or amazon.co.uk. These guys now sell practically anything you can imagine – and they do all the warehousing and fulfilment as well. However, the main idea here is that you get a piece of every sale for simply having a site that you can attract a group of people who likes to do what you like to do anyway.
Cashflow – It must be obvious by now where I’m going with this. But here it is. You can actually do all the above with your social networking site at the same time to create multiple streams of income with recurring cashflow. You can have a targeted niche social networking website that you: collect recurring membership fees; you sell ads on the site to businesses and individuals; and you can have an online store for your members to buy products – all on the same site. Of course, once you have the site and the audience you can also offer ‘premium services’ to your members. Ching, ching … more streams of income.
So this is only a small sample of what you can do today to make money online with your own social networking website, without even leaving your house.

Admin New Fun Features for Facebook
September 3rd, 2010
Admin These applications need to be constantly improved and renewed as they are part of Facebook’s growth and popularity.
The founder of the social networking website decided to offer a grant of £125,000 to companies or individuals to develop outstanding and engaging applications. To receive this grant, finalists will be judged by a jury including Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s CEO, Paypal co-founder Peter Thiel and Accel’s Jim Breyer, the primary investors of Facebookfunds grant (fbFund).
This clever move will bring many new ideas and innovation to the website. The interest in the developer community is expected to be very high as well as pretty much every programmer will be able to work with the Facebook API.
Great plans – not a very new scheme as such as the main idea is of course very simple and straight forward – bringing in new members or alternatively (and probably even more important, keep existing user on the website for longer. This will help to increase revenue made with advertising.
A previous article “Facebook opens profile to the public: How to Hide!’, explains how the social networking site wants to profit from its members. Now the new weapon of choice are the software developers and even Mr. Zuckerberg said: “With just a little bit of capital, a company can grow to hundreds of thousands of users,…”. Anyway – the new application will be great fun to use too!

Is Myspace And My Facebook Really Mine?
September 3rd, 2010
Admin One of the fastest growing crimes in the United States today is identity theft. It is estimated that this year approximately 6 million identity theft crimes will occur in varying degrees. These types of crimes may be anything from borrowing your photos from Facebook or MySpace pages and using it to create some form of identification, to altering it in astounding ways and setting up a new website; to making purchases and obtaining credit with your personal, financial and credit information.
Social networking sites, such as MySpace, Facebook and others are some of the most popular uses of the internet right now. People use it to promote bands, businesses, people and just staying in touch. However, there are some pitfalls with so much easily accessible personal information in one place.
On social networking sites information that may seem inconsequential may like hitting the “jackpot” to an identity thief. I was able to find out where a college aged man lived, what school he went to, his birth date and what his plans are for the Christmas holidays; all within a matter of moments. Give me about 10 more minutes and I would probably be able to find out enough information to be able to start my own new identity from his.
What information can be obtained with a keyboard and a few minutes on MySpace? Let’s start with your profile, where you may have posted your picture, your city, state, sometimes even your address, birth date, your last vacation, and your plans for other vacations, and simply general comments about what you do, when you do it and where you do it. With that information you can also be sent follow up emails which may gather additional personal information; such as one individual who was sent an email, which appeared to be from his university requesting verification of his social security number. Within minutes the mail had been sent and the student’s now so called personal information is someone else’s.
What can be done to keep your “space” really your “space?” First, set your profile to private, allowing access to your information from only those that you invite or add to your list. However, this doesn’t work if you simply add to your list anyone who contacts you and asked to be added. Be careful who you share information with.
Make sure that your password is different for your email account as it is for your MySpace, Facebook or other social networking sites. Be aware of postings and changes to your social networking site that you did not post, it is possible that someone is accessing your account. Be sure to have different passwords for each networking site, email account and other online services. One common mistake is to provide a cell phone numbers, address, or employment history. All of this information can be used to create a credit account in their names.
Another reason that users of social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace are at high risk is because so many of their users “trust” those that they meet online By providing your unqualified trust to a stranger, you are putting yourself at risk. It is possible that those friends you make online are simply there to gain information to use for some other purpose.
The National Cyber Security Alliance http://staysafeonline.org advises that people think of social networking sites as “billboards in cyberspace.” Would you want your credit card or employment information on a billboard? Or when you will be gone from your home? To stay safe from identity theft online; be careful what information you post, make sure to keep your profiles safe and secure by limiting access, use unique hard to discover passwords, and make sure to use up to date anti virus as well as Spy ware software programs. In this way, you can know that you are taking the appropriate precautions to keep your personal and financial information safe as well as having a good time with your friends on these sites.

John Mccain and Lessons not Learned
September 2nd, 2010
Admin
During his run for the presidency Republican candidate John McCain has vigorously repeated his vow to defeat what he refers to as “the transcendent issue of the 21st century”, radical Islamic extremism. It has become the centerpiece for his bid for the presidency, and a tired phrase on the stump. Yet we are less than 10% into the 21st century, and it is probable that what he sees as the transcendent issue of our time is more likely to be a thin sliver of the next 100 years.
What do you suppose American leaders in 1908 would have suggested was the transcendent issue of the 20th century? In 1908 Jack Johnson, a black man, was the heavyweight boxing champion of the world and promoters were looking for a “great white hope”. The Chicago Cubs were about to win the world series, and the first Model T rolled out of the Ford Motor car company. The top issue of the 1908 election revolved around commerce abuse. In the presidential election, both political parties rested their chances of winning on persecuting the “sins of the railroad industry”. William Jenning Bryan called for the socialization of the railroads, which led to the eventual victory by Taft. Citizens feared typhoid and tuberculosis more than they worried about the Japanese eye on the Philippines.
Neither candidate mentioned the looming possibility of nuclear warfare, which was arguably the transcendent issue of the 20th century, because we had yet to harness the power of the atom. They saw the world and the issues facing the nation through their experiential lens, and the political zeitgeist of the day. We cannot fault these leaders for missing the largest single threat that faced the 20th century, but then again, they did not make such grand claims.
John McCain has. Since the tragic attacks of 9/11, he has viewed radical extremism as a legitimate justification to wage war on those who would oppose U.S. policy regardless of whether they pose a threat to the United States. Hours after the fall of the twin towers McCain solidified his malicious intentions towards Iraq, and used the “transcendent issue of our times” as a leverage point to lead the call for war.
However, he too is limited by his 20th century experiences and lacks the vision to see what may be around our collective corner. This lack of vision will prove costly if he is elected President.
He refuses to leave Iraq until “victory is achieved”. Doing otherwise is equated with “raising the white flag of surrender”. It is not hard to see where this worldview comes from. His experiences in Vietnam have likely led him to a singular conclusion; that we cannot withdraw without honor and victory, because the withdrawal in Vietnam caused him and his comrades so much suffering. Yet he cannot see that he is repeating the mistakes of Vietnam. Vietnam was lost partially because there was little reason to fully engage in the conflict other than to win the conflict, and because the conditions that constituted victory were never defined. So that war slogged on until the nation lost the will to continue it.
Senator McCain has repeatedly been asked to define “victory” in Iraq and has failed to do so. Without this operational definition of the end game, the war can never end for him. McCain reminds us of the legends of the Japanese soldiers who continued fighting on remote Pacific islands long after the end of the Second World War. Soon the Iraq war will be over, but he is determined to stay and fight, determined to win the war even though he does not know what victory looks like. For him the war may never be over. And therein lies the real danger of electing John McCain president. Because make no mistake he will find a war to win.
The transcendent issue of the 21st century may prove to be radical jihadism, but history would suggest otherwise. It may be wise for us to actually leave our post 9/11 bomb shelter and engage with this century before we know the dangers, and yes, opportunities that lie ahead. Our challenges are sure to be great, and I for one would like to see a clearer, and more forward thinking mind at the helm than John McCain’s.
